Asus launches Zenbook S 14, focusing on AI

 

Asus has just officially launched the Zenbook S 14 model, which is also the new generation of the thinnest and most portable 14-inch AI laptop on the market.

Zenbook S 14 is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processor with a system-on-chip (SoC) design. The SoC design reduces the motherboard size by 27% to improve overall cooling performance. With up to 32GB of fast RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD, the processor has a TDP of up to 28W and 120 TOPS for the latest AI (artificial intelligence) applications.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) AI chip also provides optimal power consumption, providing up to 27 hours of use or a full working day with a 72 Wh battery. Zenbook S 14 ensures the ability to operate independently all day without needing to be plugged in.

As a high-end office laptop, the machine focuses on optimal mobility with a thickness of only 1.1 cm and a weight of only 1.2 kg. The machine achieves this absolute thinness and lightness thanks to the use of advanced CNC technology to create a monolithic design and an exclusive geometric grille above the keyboard.

Zenbook S 14 features a dedicated Windows Copilot key on the ASUS ErgoSense keyboard for instant Windows AI support, and a touchpad that's enlarged to fit the display's 16:10 aspect ratio. This enhances comfort and ease of use, allowing for quick adjustments to volume and display brightness via smart gestures. The ultra-compact Zenbook S 14 has a full range of I/O ports, including two Thunderbolt 4, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI® 2.1 and an audio combo jack.
